The human body is an incredibly intelligent instrument that’s made up of far more than the physical flesh we can see and touch.

As we are energetic beings, within our bodies exist 7 internal energy vortices and one external energy vortex that determine the health and coherence of the body as a whole.

These energy centers interact with the physical body through the endocrine system (glands) and the nervous system (neuronal/nerve plexuses).

Each center is associated with a particular part of the body, as well as particular functions within the body that are controlled by that specific plexus of nerves or the endocrine gland related to that center.

Think of these individual clusters of neurological networks as mini-brains.

If each one of those centers has its own individual brain, then each also has its own individual mind, and if these centers fall into imbalance, the physical body can be negatively affected because that individual mind isn’t working properly.

Eastern medicine has known and taught about these centers, or chakras, for eons, and it’s time to bring this knowledge into the forefront of western minds to create a more holistic view of total wellness.
